MALCO is an innovative solution for monitoring the construction processes of large infrastructures by using cutting-edge technologies such as GNSS (global navigation satellite systems), satellite EO (Earth observation), drones and wearable devices to guarantee a safe environment for the construction workers while avoiding delays in the construction schedule.
MALCO is an all-in-one service for managing construction sites, identifying delays in the construction plan, and introducing warning systems to address worker safety needs and avoid cases of accidents.
MALCO services integrates advanced technological systems such as drones, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), GIS (Geographic Information System), BIM (Building Information Model) models, and real-time PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) data.
The project has been supported by ESA NAVISP2 and has It has been developed by a partnership of leading companies in each technological sector.
The service will soon be available on the market, adopting an innovative business model that leverages the platform-as-a-service concept through MALCO—moving away from traditional cost-per-device frameworks—and will be commercialized through three offerings: a monitoring service, a safety service, and a blended solution, addressing evolving market needs in a new era of service adoption.
